The Balloon Experiment

I did a balloon experiment. Here's how you can do it too:

1. Rinse an empty plastic bottle;
2. Put 3 teaspoons of baking soda into the bottle;
3. Pour in 1/2 cup of white vinegar; and
   
4. Quickly put a balloon over the top of the bottle.

The balloon will inflate because the carbon dioxide that is produced rises and is trapped in the balloon.
